I have no offer letter — what should I do?

You need to be admitted to a university or college first. If you want help choosing a field and an institution, we have a separate study abroad advice service.

Is a language certificate compulsory?

It depends on the programme. Some institutions set their own test, some require an international certificate, and language schools usually ask for neither.

Can I work while I study?

Some countries allow students to work a limited number of hours, others do not. The rule varies by country.

Is the visa issued for the whole course?

Usually not. The visa is issued for a set period and is then extended inside the country or converted into a residence permit.
